bongoland - where lore becomes life, and everything in between pulses to the beat of discovery.

a brief history of bongoland

In the cosmic concert that is our universe, the enchanting beat of Bongoland reverberates, a rhythm woven into the fabric of reality itself. This rhythm emanates from Bongo - an eternal entity transcending the constraints of time, never born, never vanished, but ceaselessly present. Dwelling in the realm of both existence and non-existence, Bongo infuses Bongoland with its mystical vibrancy.

Then, in an unusual play of time and circumstance, the christly figure of Jesus appeared in the landscape of Bongoland, after the ethereal presence of Bongo. Although chronologically juxtaposed to the timeless existence of Bongo, Jesus' advent weaves another strand of vivid color into Bongoland's rich tapestry.

Along this nonlinear journey, emerged the Bongo Council - Jordan, Matthew, and Jeremy - whose existence paradoxically gave birth to Bongoland while being born into an already thriving Bongoland history. An almost ethereal chicken-egg conundrum, this perplexing occurrence continues to add an air of mystery to Bongoland's unique chronicle.

Today, Bongoland dances to the thrum of rhythm and reality, adding every day to its vibrant history while leaving us, the explorers, ever intrigued about its origins and mystical existence. Indeed, Bongoland embodies a beautiful, cosmic conundrum - an eternal cadence reverberating in the symphony of existence.

the chronicles of celestial harmony

Bongoland, known for its heartbeat-like rhythm, has a past as pulsating as its present. History recalls 350 A.D., an era known as The Chronicles of Celestial Harmony, when the peaceful land was touched by divine intrigue and chaos.

A figure, identified as Jesus Christ, emerged from the Bongo mountains, rumoured as resurrected. His presence sparked an intense competition among Bongonians—who would host this celestial guest? The honor fell to Woodland Steve, known for his love of nature.

But peace didn't last. Nightly, tribal men invaded Steve's home, seeking Jesus. The situation exploded when Steve found his own brother, John, inappropriately touching Jesus's legs. Enraged, Steve choked John nearly to death.

This sparked a civil war in Bongoland, dividing the land into two factions—Steve's and John's. For a year, the land faced violent raids and sorrowful losses.

The climax of this conflict came when Jesus, siding with Steve's faction, hurled the nails from his stigmata into John's eyes, blinding him forever. This ended the year-long strife. The defeated John and his followers were allowed to retreat, but had only one can of Bud Light each—a severe lack considering Bongonians' fondness for the drink.

The tale of 350 A.D. symbolizes Bongoland's resilience through strife, shaping it into today's harmonious, rhythm-infused land.

the time of harmonious reunion

Post Christ's era, around 350 AD, marked a crucial epoch in the history of Bongoland - the Time of Harmonious Reunion. Bongonians, bound by shared rhythm, worked collectively to reconstruct their realm, heal the discord, and make amends for the civil conflict, setting the foundation for centuries of peaceful coexistence.

This era saw remarkable advancements in the architecture of Bongoland, symbolizing their early adoption of rhythmic aesthetics. Structures evolved to become more curvaceous, emulating the form of the sacred bongo drums that held a significant place in their culture. The unique language of Bongonians also underwent progressive transformation, intricately weaving rhythm into every spoken phrase, resonating like an enchanting symphony.

By the 7th century, to safeguard their harmonious existence, a comprehensive and rigid set of peacekeeping laws were etched into towering stone sculptures. The sculptures, remarkably resembling bongo drums, stood as constant reminders of their commitment to unity and mutual respect.

In the period of Renaissance mirroring Earth's, Bongoland was swept up in a wave of cultural revolution, exploring and expressing their rhythmic core through various art forms. Bongo drumming, painting, and dancing saw a remarkable surge in popularity, each contributing to a vibrant and rhythmic cultural landscape.

The age of Enlightenment brought about an era of exploration beyond aesthetics. Bongonian scholars and scientists sought to unravel the celestial mysteries

epoch of rhythmical synchronization

Following the Time of Harmonious Reunion, Bongoland entered a new era, the "Epoch of Rhythmical Synchronization", marked by centuries of rhythmic prosperity and tranquility. Bongonians, having healed from a past civil conflict, were bound by shared rhythm and mutual respect, yielding a period of peaceful coexistence.

Architectural advancement unfolded in the 7th century as Bongonians embraced rhythms within the essence of their structures. It was also during this time when they established a comprehensive set of peacekeeping laws, symbolically etched into towering bongo-shaped stone sculptures, to reiterate their pledge to unity.

This commitment to communal harmony was also mirrored in their Renaissance period, where drumming, painting, dance, and numerous other art forms became dominant cultural expressions. During the Bongoland Enlightenment, akin to Earth’s, Bongonians began to extend their knowledge beyond sheer aesthetics and into unraveling celestial mysteries.

The wheel of time continued to spin, bringing forth the Bongo Council members – Lordash (Jordan MacCauley), Matthew "Stinky Matty" O'Connor, and Jeremy 'Gym-hands' Viets. Lordash was gripped by the vision of Bongoland, fervently working towards transforming this vivid imagination into a universally recognized reality. Stinky Matty, born a natural musician, breathed life into Bongoland's heartbeat through his musical compositions. On the other hand, Gym-hands, a wellness warrior, diligently conserved Bongoland's vitality.

The emergence of these diverse forces in the "Epoch of Rhythmical Synchronization" has spurred the resonance of celestial rhythm into the modern age, extending all the way to 2023. This trifecta redefined history while simultaneously upholding Bongoland's rhythmic vibrancy.
